To vote in the October 7th election a person must be registered by September 12th. The registration requirements as well as a downloadable version of the voter registration form are available through the following link to the Wake County Board of Elections website.

Simply download the form, fill it out and drop it in the mail or take it to any public library by September 9th which allows plenty of time for your form to arrive in the Board of Elections office.
If you're cutting it close you'll want to drop it off anytime before 5 p.m. Friday, September 12th at the Board of Elections office located at 337 South Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh.
